Summer Youth Employment Program
Applications are available for special needs, at risk or low-income youth, 14-21 years old, living in Dakota, Washington and suburban Hennepin Counties* for a 9-week paid summer work experience designed to help young people learn and practice basic job skills.
The program begins on June 23 and ends August 22, 2008.
Youth generally work 20 hours per week and earn $6.15/hour.
Most jobs are working outdoors on landscape projects in area parks. In Dakota and suburban Hennepin County ONLY there are jobs indoors.
